Emblematic figure of the 80’s, Rafael Riqueni is one the founder
fathers of modern guitar. Among them he is the greatest musician
and the most brilliant composer. This collection brings some of
his masterworks, pieces that can be considered as milestones in
the history of flamenco guitar. Rafael honoured the project of this
book by offering in exclusivity for Affedis publications his last
composition por siguiriya, Las campanas de Santa Ana, here transcribed
in the version he played for me. This is a superb gift for all of
us as this piece has not yet been recorded on any CD. 33
